Following our friendly last week against Cirencester, the boys & girls teams both performed well at the monthly U 11’s tournament, held had the ladies college. The boys results were

v Yate Won 2-0 ( Harry Godwin 2 )
v Gloucester Won 3-0 ( Harry Godwin 2, Sam Privett)
v Marlborough Drew 0-0
v North Wilts Drew 0-0
v North Wilts Girls Won 6-0 (Harry Godwin 3, Sam Privett, Ollie Palmer 2)

There was some great team play with many excellent passing moves. We created lots of goal scoring opportunities and Harry was lethal in front of goal, taking an early lead in the race for the golden stick award. Well done to all the team; Matthew Holdaway, Rory Murfitt, Ollie Palmer, Revie Wood,Harry Godwin, Jack Williams, Ben Davis, Jeremy Fox, Sam Privett.
The girls also performed well in their first tournament and out did the boys by scoring eight against North Wilts. Ellen Symington performed particularly well in goal, on her debut. Well done to all the team; Ellie Pearson, Emma Winder, Isobel McGregor, Elisha Privett, Imke Van Der Star, Kiana Mcdonald, Juliette Lamden, Georgina Paton, Ellen Symington
Thanks to the parents for the very encouraging vocal support!
