This week saw the Ladies 2’s take on EG. This is always a good fixture with lots of local rivalry. Lansdown started very well with plenty of chances from Susie Francis, Cally Pollard and Sam Hook unfortunately not finding the back of the net. Just before half time Lansdown had a free hit outside the edge of the circle which was deflected by Cally Pollard on to Susie Francis who found the back of the net to make the score at half time 1-0 to Lansdown.

E.G. came out very strongly in the second half and the Lansdown defence did well to soak up the pressure. Carly Williams made some fantastic saves in the Lansdown goal with Naomi Luckman clearing the ball from the line which kept Lansdown in control of the game. With 10 minutes to go E.G had a penalty corner awarded which was slotted away to make the score 1-1. The final 10 minutes saw chances on both goals with both keepers making some great saves which meant the final score remained at 1-1.

Well done everyone another well won point!
