We finished our league campaign with a 2-2 draw with Bristol Uni A. The game had a real end of season feel to it and never really got going. Ant Thompson scored both goals to continue his scoring hot streak. New comers to the club Ned Lack and Paul Vickers played particularly well which is promising for next year. This draw means that we finish seventh in the table out of twelve only four points behind rivals Gloucester with a positive goal difference. Captain George Lampkin should take a lot of credit for this final league position, with the turnover of players he has had to contend with he has led an inexperienced side to the usual mid table league position. A sign of the player turnover is that out of the 14 players selected for our final league game only 6 were 1st team regulars last season. Hopefully next season we can continue the form that has seen us lose only one of our last seven games to really aim for the higher positions in the league.
