The ladies badgers put in a great performance against a well established Dursley side and narrowly lost 1 – 0. Goalkeeper Catherine made some excellent saves early on as the Lansdown defence was put under some considerable pressure in the first half but the girls kept their shape and battled hard and created a few chances of their own. The Dursley goal came towards the end of the first half after a scramble in-front of goal saw the ball creep over the goal line.

Lansdown came out strong in the second half and the whole team played some lovely passing hockey and were awarded with a couple of short corners that resulted in shots going narrowly wide. The girls should be very proud of their performance as we played Dursley in our first ever badgers game and we lost 4 -1, so well done to Catherine, Merryl, Sophie, Kim, Charlotte, Holly, Lucy, Beth, Darcy, Claire, Flora, Tia and Louise.
