The Ladies 2’s played away at City of Bath this week. It was a tough game right from the start with Lansdown appearing a little sleepy from their hour in the car. But we managed to ensure that the first half ended 0-0.

After the break Lansdown woke up and started to play some great hockey with two great individual goals in quick succession from Sian Edwards and Hayley Whitehouse. City of Bath came back with a well worked goal from a free hit on the edge of the circle which was deflected in past Karen’s (our star goalie for the day) right foot. City thought they’d scored a second when Negs (man of the match) appeared from nowhere and cleared the ball from the line.

Well done girls a well fought game ending in another 3 points, 2-1 to Lansdown. Our next game is a 2pm start at Bourneside this coming Saturday, all supporters very welcome!

Yeah, well done Negsie, we’d be lost without you 🙂 xxx
I’d also like to take the opportunity to thank Karen as without her help stepping into goal while Bonnet is recovering from her car accident, we’d be up completely stuck!!
