Lansdown had much of the play in the first 20 minutes and had plenty of chances but we just couldn’t find the back of the net. Clifton had a couple of breaks late in the first half and managed to convert one to make the score 1 – 0 at half time. Lansdown came out fighting in the second half and played some excellent passing hockey through midfield but just lacked that final killer pass in the last 25 metres. Clifton scored their second mid way through the second half and Lansdown just couldn’t reply. Final Score 2 – 0 to Clifton. The team played really well, we just couldn’t find the back of the net which is disappointing considering Clifton were limited to four chances and scored from two of them! Exeter this weekend at home (2pm Bournside) so please come and support us if you are free.
