Mens 2nd XI v Wotton-U-Edge Sunday, October 15, 2006

trackback

Lansdown 0 – Wotton 5

Lansdown were beaten by youth, speed and good finishing, but the score line was a bit harsh. Wotton passed the ball very well, but some fine defending meant their goal scoring chances were limited. Ian Mathews and Mark Williams had good chances for Lansdown in the first half. At half time it was 2-0 to Wotton.

The second half saw Lansdown attack and create lots short corners, but it was one of those days when nothing went right. Wotton counter attacked and scored at intervals. Lansdown worked hard all game for no reward.

Cheers,

Andy Allen
Mens 2nd XI Captain.
